George Ferguson CRAWFORD, son of James CRAWFORD and Ellen FERGUSON, was a clothing manufacturer of Windsor near Melbourne. Born in Belfast, he emigrated about 1856 and settled in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

He was married on 8th November 1860 at South Yarra, Melbourne to Catherine WHATMOUGH (born circa 1832 in Liverpool died after 1920)and they family there, James Henry (Henry), Catherine, George Ferguson, Ellen, Arthur Charles, John Valentine and Ellen Theodosia (Nell).
