Mary, youngest daughter of James CRAWFORD and Mabel JOHNSTON, married 11 September 1789, David GORDON of Florida, Co Down, second son of Robert GORDON and Alice WHYTE née ARBUCKLE whose mother was a CRAWFORD.

They had three children, Robert, James and Jane Maria.

Mary, was granddaughter to John Crawford. David's mother, Alice, was also granddaughter to a John Crawford, but it is not believed that this was the same John Crawford.
