James of Rademon, Crossgar, M.P. for Co Down 1874-1878., was the third son, fourth child of William and Mabel Sharman-Crawford

There was a portrait at Crawfordsburn House, although the present whereabouts are unknown.

He died at Rademon without issue, and although there is no record in the register, was buried in the family vault at Kilmore

His will was proved at Belfast on 19th June 1878 by his eldest brother John, the sole exor.
