Arthur Johnston, the second son, third child, of Arthur Johnston SHARMAN-CRAWFORD, was born in Dublin and baptised at Mount Street Church Dublin on 29 January 1851.

He died at Fortbreda, Co Down, aged nearly 12 years, like his sister some two years before him, and was buried in the family vault at Kilmore on 2 August 1862 at which time his sister Mary Elizabeth's remains were also re-interred there, (being removed from Dublin)
