A two storey Regency house with circular projections and an iron veranda. Eaved roof. Partly destroyed by fire 1902, rebuilt 1903.
The first reference to this property in the SHARMAN-CRAWFORD family was after the marriage of William Henry CRAWFORD, who may have 'come into' the house of Lota Lodge as a result of his marriage, but whatever the case, appears to have lived there from then until his death.
The property then passed into the hands of Arthur Frederick SHARMAN-CRAWFORD, and there is a record dated 29 October 1890, with William Henry's widow, whereby Arthur Frederick purchased the contents of the house and lands of Lota Lodge.
